Update #19- Gearing for War

Hello Guild Mates

ESO is closer than ever now. This means it is time to gather all our members in preparation for the time. We need to know exactly who we'll be seeing in the weeks of release, and whether we have enough members to meet up in game for a PVE event. Hence, I would like to rouse activity on this site.

Gathering Existing Players
If you will be playing within the first few weeks, please reply below. It means we'll be seeing your presence in-game. I will also be calling in Strider members through messages in Skyrim Forum. We must aim to gather a good number of our members for ESO release, which will only be possible with everyone's participation.

Gathering Member-related Players
Some of you have mentioned before that you have friends or family who would join the Guild closer to release, such as Melee. It is time to do so now. If you have any brothers, sisters or friends who you know to play or who has shown interest in playing, get them into the Guild as soon as possible. Every boost in number will boost our in-game strength as a Guild.

Gathering New Recruits
I will also be trying to gather new recruits to join us. Rest assured that by the time ESO begins, We will have additional members who will become part of our team. I would also like to ask everyone for help in gathering such members. Meeb, Wick and Melee, if you meet noteworthy players in ESO, do send them towards the guild. If not, there is always the usual hunting grounds such as Skyrim Forums.


In conclusion, we as a guild must work together to bring activity back to the site and strength to ourselves in ESO. I hope to see everyone play their part

I know for a fact I won't be able to play the game upon its initial release unfortunately its release coincides with me having to pay for my tuition as well as 6 months of rent so I don't have to live in a cardboard box this year. 15 dollars a month is to steep a price for me, but I'll do what I can to help the guild here on the forum.

there is group chat and guild chat, no voice chat to my knowledge though

o.o Do you want a voice chat? We could do it via Vent like some other guilds

it would make talking easier, but not sure if everyone would be able to. I have a mic but I can't always talk, since I live in a small apartment with 3 other people.

I havent yet preordered but plan to before too long. Money's a touch tight, but I should be able to make it.

I would first need to get a new computer, which would mean I need money, which means I would need a job that would take away from my already busy college life...

So no, sadly I am not going to be able to get the game anytime soon...

Hmm, that's a problem. How did you play SKyrim before this, Google?
And would Skype be able to run while we play eso? It won't be much use if it kills our framerates in the background :/

I always have skype running on my computer, course I have a quad-core processor so its very easy for it to multitask. I know having skype calls can be stressful for your internet connection too, so its hit or miss with that. There are other programs that are less demanding that we could probably use though.

I played Skyrim on my PS3. Same with Oblivion.

Does anyone know if Ventrillo is a good idea? I think we could use it for in-game communication- it'll be way more personal and effective than communication via typing. But we should only do this if everyone's fine with it.
