This thread shall serve as a lore brainstorming thread for the Ebonheart Trade. I'll lead the discussion and shall post here with all of my ideas, and would love to hear what you think and/or would like to add.

The Basic Lore Of The Elder Scrolls Online
It is a time of strife and unrest. Armies of revenants and dark spirits manifest in every corner of Tamriel. Winters grow colder and crops fail. Mystics are plagued by nightmares and portents of doom.
Four years ago, in 2E 578, an arcane explosion of energy in the Imperial City set off mystical aftershocks that swept across Nirn. Mages died or went mad. Supernatural abominations from the plane of Oblivion, the Daedra, appeared in greater numbers than ever before. The constellation of the Serpent grew so large that it dominated the night sky.
So began the grand scheme of Molag Bal, Daedric Prince of domination and enslavement. His Dark Anchors, vortexes of evil magic, weaken the barrier between worlds, threatening to merge Nirn and Oblivion into a single, nightmarish hellscape.
In the midst of this chaos, three alliances vie for control of the Imperial City and the White-Gold Tower. High Rock, Sentinel, and Orsinium stand as one, united under the rule of the High King in Wayrest. Valenwood and Elsweyr have forged an alliance of their own with Summerset, while Black Marsh, Morrowind, and Skyrim have formed a third, uneasy pact.
The Daggerfall Covenant. The Aldmeri Dominion. The Ebonheart Pact.
Three armies will take up arms against the Empire, and against each other, to wrest control of the Imperial City and White-Gold Tower from the dark forces of Oblivion itself.
The Ebonheart Pact is the most unlikely of the three alliances. The Nords and Dark Elves have a long history of conflict, and the Argonians were enslaved by the Dark Elves for thousands of years.
It was the Akaviri invasion that forged a bond between them. Now they are determined to control their own destiny by defeating the Empire, while preserving their own fiercely independent homelands.
The Nords are the brash, boisterous front line of the Pact; fierce warriors and expert weapon masters. The Dark Elves have a natural affinity for magic. The Argonians are the best guerilla warriors in Tamriel.
The combined strength of these unlikely allies makes the Ebonheart Pact a fighting force of extraordinary power.
Blood for the Pact! "Before Ysgramor led the Nord people south, our ancestors flourished in the frozen continent of Atmora, and to this day our people prefer the bitter climes of northern Tamriel.
The Dark Elves abide in Morrowind, a harsh land of ashfall and perpetual earthquakes.
The Argonians endure the treacherous and impenetrable depths of Black Marsh.
The alliance between our races was born in dark times, when Nord, Dunmer and free Argonians fought as one to repel the invasion of the Akaviri slavemasters.
Our greatest strength is the adversity we have overcome.
Our resolve is glacial, our might is forged in fire, and our courage, cultivated by the beasts of the jungle.
We are Ebonheart. We are as one. And by this, our victory is assured."

The Rise Of The Ebonheart Trade
In this time of war, strife ravaged the landscape of Tamriel. The lands of the Ebonheart Pact was effected by a troubled economy that now turned to aid in the new war-effort, and with the armies away fighting for control of the Imperial Throne and the demons of Oblivion, towns became more vulnerable to attacks from bandits, wild beasts, and unnatural monsters. To counter this, guilds of unlikely heroes began to form throughout the Ebonheart Pact to defend their homelands and to make a name for themselves, but they too were effected by the troubled economy.
With resources becoming scarce, the heroes of the guild Vokundein devised an idea that would not only help with economic troubles, but also strengthen the bonds of the various guilds of the Ebonheart Pact. A united guild trade, one that would support the needs of the guilds while also benefiting the Pact's overall economy. It would not be controlled by any one guild, as that would undermine the concept of guild individuality and cause more harm then good for the Pact.
Vokundein acted swiftly, sending messages to the various guilds that resided in the lands of Skyrim, Morrowind, and the Black Marsh. Slowly, guilds heard of the Ebonheart Trade Initiative and began seeking Vokundein out in order to find out the truth to their claims of a beneficial alliance of guilds for economic aid. Some agreed after much persuading, some did not. That is the nature of things, but enough eventually joined to carry out a prospering trade organization.
The benefits soon began to bare fruit as money and supplies began to become a commodity instead of a luxury, for both the people of the Pact and the guilds that held influence in the Trade's organization. With time, the Ebonheart Trade may become an official part of the Pact's government, but that is more of a rumor spoken by townsfolk and farmers then reality.

I think we've got the rough idea, but we should extend the lore over time to include the structure, leaders and the central areas of trade. This will leave a flawless piece of lore that every Guild can use in their roleplays.
Other than that, good job Google. I'll be giving members of the Ebonheart Trade the link, and they can come in and provide their thoughts as they see fit

Okay, some changes to the lore we need to make.
Ebonheart Trade now needs to incorporate all 3 factions (They decided to go cross faction anyways). This means that either the rise of the Ebonheart Trade must include the other 2 alliances. Or (More believably and following what actually happened in the development of the initiative) the other 2 factions saw the benefits of the Ebonheart Trade and later wished to join.
Other than that, I'm confident you can make the best lore Google, you've been Rping for a good time now. I apologize for you being unable to enter the Ventrillo, but I've requested that you,Meeb and Ahaark be given a Ventrillo account to log into the server (Apparently you could only enter if your username had been confirmed -.- )
We are however, pressed for time with this. Ebonheart Trade wished to base their website design/logo off the lore, so what we do may influence various aesthetics of the website. I've told them that our Guild can complete the task within a week. I doubt this will be much of a problem.
So Google, what would you like the rest of us to work on for the lore?

As long as you could attend Kilc, at least we were represented I suppose it makes sense as to why we couldn't get in now, but if they are using such a complex program (relatively speaking) it would be nice if there were some directions on their website on how to use it, that might have saved me some time.

Google we need the lore as soon as possible. What do you want the rest of us to do? Set us a part of lore to complete and we'll all work together on it

The Union Of Factions
So strong were the rumors surrounding the Tamriel Trading Company, as it was later named, that guilds from the Daggerfall Covenant and the Aldmeri Dominion sent messengers to send word to the Tamriel Trading Company of their interests. Upon hearing of off-faction guilds wanting to join in the Company's success, Vokundein prepared for the guilds of the Tamriel Trading Company to come together to discuss the future of the Company in the city of Whiterun. This was to take place in Dragons Keep after being given permission by the Jarl, as the Jarl held a great deal of respect for the Company that has helped the Pact survive economically in such dark times.
The meeting took place at dusk and marked the first gathering of the guilds in the Trading Company's lifetime. Many champions greeting each other wholeheartedly and celebrated with ale and tales of their adventures. Others keep to themselves, patiently waiting for the meeting to began. After giving the guild members a moment to enjoy the gathering, Rigma Osrad, being a spokesperson for the Company sense it's creation, stood up from one of the large dining tables and explained the Company's interest in working with guilds outside the the Ebonheart Pact. Suddenly the champions began to argue and debate, jumping out of their chairs and slamming their hands into the tables while others, most notably the dinner table reserved for the guild leaders, sat and conversed with personal opinions and attempted to calm the rest down when things got out of hand. Eventually after much debating, the guilds came to an agreement that it would be in the Company's best interest to allow trading with guilds from other factions.
The Trading Company sent word back to those guilds interested in doing business that they would willingly trade with them without hostility or contempt. Since then, guilds from other factions have participated in trade meetings but are still in the minority.

Haha good update Google, This will be getting rid of one thing on the Guild's "To do" list. I did a minor edit in name (Since they are now called Tamriel Trade). Other than that, I think it's almost up for preview by the Guild. We still have until the 10th, so if you ever need more help with any additional lore you may think up, give me a shout.
