Squad Though the Guild is represented by all it's members, everyone is put into one of three Major squads in full-scale battles to maximise efficiency. These 3 Major squads are;Alpha(Melee), Beta(Ranged) and Gamma(Magic). Each Major Squad is led by a Ghost, whom is in charge of those under him or herself, and the success of the Guild as a whole. The Ghost micromanages those under him to ensure his squad performs the best they can, and also acts as the bridge of communication between squads. Together, the 3 Ghosts of the Squads make sure the Guild performs with flawless inter-squad communication, and also produce highly specialized and efficient members.
Minor squads come in play when there are 4 members or less online. Ghosts may not be online to lead minor squads, so the minor squad is led by the highest ranking member among those 4. If there are 2 higher ranking members, then the one with the highest level takes charge of the minor squads during games. Minor squad members may come from any major squads, though they perform with greater efficiency when they are made of a variety of Guild main classes.
Guild Main Classes In this Guild, each member is to chose a specific class. This specialisation increases the success rate of the Guild, as we will be diverse in ability and able to cope in any situation. Furthermore, Classes are designated their Major squad based on their offensive type. By sticking to other Guild members of the same type, members can learn quicker and cooperate, producing efficient results.
Tank Squad:Alpha The front line fighter of squad Alpha, the tank is always sent into battle first. His high defense stats and endurance, coupled with his shield or defense-buffering spells, will prove a difficulty for opponents to mettle down. This allows his comrades behind him to score some undefended hits while the enemy struggles to overcome the Tank. With his strong defense, the tank is able to withstand any difficulty and accomplish his goal as the squad's impenetrable buffer.
Flanker Squad: Alpha Light of apparel and feet, the Flanker is the ambushing party of Squad Alpha.He is a midium ranged fighter,only engaging with opponents once they have started to fight the Tank. The Flanker must be able to dodge obstacles in order to reach his preoccupied target, and follow up with poisons and his chosen weapon. A Flanker must also have a high offense, as his goal is to deal with the threat as efficiently as possible.
Scout Squad:Alpha or Beta(Depending on Scout's stats) The infiltrator and spy of squad Alpha and Beta, the scout ensures that each squad is in the best position to help the Guild win. Sent out solo or in pairs, they gather intelligence on the enemies ahead and trigger unwanted traps in advance for their squads.Scouts are the eyes and ears of the Guild, and must be able to report accurate information back to the main attacking force. Quick-footed and aware of the terrain, they must ensure that they return without attracting attention.
Marksman Squad: Beta The Marksman boasts unrivalled ability in the ranged area of the Guild, focusing solely on his archery skills. He is also adept in choice of poison, selecting those which are of best help to the Guild at that point in time. A marksman is the far ranged fighter of the Beta Squad, and picks on enemies from behind his comrades. His efficiency and keen eye allows the selective defeat of chosen foes, and his offensive ranged skills often stops foes in their tracks.
Ranger Squad: Beta Wielding bow and weapon, the Ranger is the medium-ranged fighter of squad Beta. He is able to join experimentals on the front line when his aid is needed, and can also retreat to the back for support. Constantly in movement, the Ranger also aids the scouts in spotting dangers ahead, or retrieving items left across the battlefield. The rangers sure-footing and skill in Melee and ranged provides diversity to the skill set of squad Beta, making him a valuable asset to the Guild.
Battlemage Squad: Gamma Focusing solely on destructive class spells, the battlemage is a ravager of the battlefield, taking down enemies with his vast amount of magicka and the range of his attacks. He must be knowledgable with his spells, able to change spells to better suit the specifics of the battlefield or the opponent. The battlemage is a far-ranged fighter, providing devastating support for others of his squad and guild.
Shaman Squad: Gamma The healing man of squad Gamma, the Shaman focuses on the restoration of comrades. He is the medic of all squads, and must be able to travel from one squad's location to another to lend aid. The request for a shaman is sent from Ghost to Ghost, allowing fast communication. Though a Shaman stays at the back of the Gamma squad, he must be able to defend himself on his trips with the use of conjuration or other offensive ablities.
Spellsword Squad:Gamma Wielding destructive class magic and Melee weaponry,the spellsword plays the role of the medium ranged fighter of squad Gamma. The spellsword is able to join the squad's experimentals at the front line, but also retreat to the back when his health is low, supporting the battle with ranged magic.Being adept at two combat types, the Spellsword is also the ideal fighter as he boasts both versatility and experience, and can be used in nearly any situation.
Experimentals Squad: Alpha, Beta or Gamma In TESO, there are bound to be new things to discover, new powers to unlock. The sole reason of the Experimentals is to make sure that the Guild can adapt to these changes, and grow stronger from it. An Experimental must be willing to subject his or herself to radical changes thoughout the game for the sake of the Guild, such as voluntarily contracting lycanthropy or vampirism.This allows the next generation of Guild members to learn from the history of the experimental's progress, and produce more efficient characters. In order to fully test the changes done to an experimental, they are usually put in the front line of squads Beta or Gamma, and also aid in the protection of the squads with their abilities.
