(R7)-Creating clubs

As some of you have seen, we have an entire section that is dedicated to clubs. If you have an idea that you think could be expanded into a club, you are always welcome to petition it under the following terms:

1) It must be something that is a broad enough topic to garner an endless amount of conversation

2) You must have at least 4 people interested in being members in order for it to be established. And they have to be willing to contribute to keep the club active.

3) You yourself have to be willing to monitor your club, as well as run it, and keep things interesting. As creator and idea founder, it will be your own personal board to get posts active in and where you will be recognized as leader to keep things going.

4) It cannot be a topic that is already covered.

You are welcome to petition these ideas through PM to either Meeb or myself. If you would like to get an idea going, and find other members who are interested, it would be beneficial to start a topic surrounding it in the general discussion area. Here, you can try and see if you can create a committee or perhaps find a co-owner of your club with you.

We are in fact looking for clubs. So if you have an idea, and can meet this criteria, you are welcome to give it ago. Do not PM either of us until you meet all of this criteria first,such as why I suggested trying to create a following for it. You need to be able to prove how your contribution as a club can be a great way to bring success towards the site overall, and you also have to establish a member system. As a club, you have members, and it is expected that you are going to try and figure out ways to make people interested as well as feel included.

All clubs will be monitored by staff for activity and post quality. If you would like your club to be private, something that would be password exclusive in order to influence your member decision--that is allowed, however, all staff members reserve the right to know the passwords to your club in order to do their duty. Also, please of course understand anything discussed in private clubs still have to abide by site rules and the proboards terms of service. I can provide links to the terms of service as well as rules should needed be.

So don't hesitate! If you have ideas, get them out there and lets get discussing!
