I added you Wick Also I looked up Neverwinter on Youtube, because the only Neverwinter I knew was Neverwinter Knights, the sequel to Baulders Gate 2 (which I love ) It seems to be an entirely free to play MMORPG with combat mechanics similar to what we are expecting from ESO. In addition to that I absolutely Love the Forgotten Realms setting, and the mechanics seem to be based very heavily on D&D 4th edition, which I have played several games of (even though its not my favorite edition). With that I am pretty sure I will install this game and give it a shot, especially since it seems the type of thing we could grow the guild in while ESO is still in development. Here is a good review video of the game, as well as a demo of gameplay

Also it seems the power system is very similar to that of Dota & LoL, you have a few fairly fast recharge powers combined with some passive ones and then some very powerful ones.

If I can somehow get LoL to work on my computer and don't have to pay up any money, I'm all for it.

yeah LoL is totally free to play, only thing you have to buy with real money is skins, which are obviously not required to enjoy the game Also I played the tutorial of Neverwinter and it was pretty fun, I made a Drow Wizard named Riztyrr ^_^ which means Ash poison in drow, fun fact.

Minecraft could be our relaxation game, like we could set things up on the weekends to go like, hunger games or we could just survive and see how strong our guild is, Lol could be our more 'casual' type game

I like the idea of multiple games, Ahaark, but we should focus on one game until our Guild gets familiar with it. I myself have no experience of LOL, which will prove a challenge to master(considering my inexperience in MMOs)
Meeb, I think since LOLs the more popular vote, we should go for it. However, we should take Flint's problem into consideration. I fear he cannot play as a result of his ridiculously horrible PC -.-
@flint: Do you think any of these things will boost your PC's gaming capacity? 1. Have you updated your driver yet? To check if your driver is optimum,go to your device manager and check for updates there. My laptop had a huge jump in performance(low graphics on skyrim to high) after upgrading 2. Have you enabled turboboost? This might not help you, but if you give your computer a thumbdrive, you can install turboboost on it which may improve your performance. The only con is you'll always have to have it in when you game 3. Delete old Skyrim saves Keep 1 or 2 saves. They eat up loads of space if you let them grow in number 4. Fragment your disk This may help if you've never done it before. Your computer always comes with a disk defragmenter. That may help
If you can't fix it through any such method, we can always have minecraft sessions as well(If your computer can handle that).

mincraft isn't too demanding, I think most computers can handle it, unless it gets to crazy with spawns and such.

Also yeah LoL is a tough game to master. It requires strategy and multitasking on several levels to play well. Of course it matches you with people of your level, which evens out the playing field quite a bit.

Also my friend is moving his workplace from his shop to his home and said I could use his pc some nights. I might be able to play with you guys on it. It's old to but still much better then mine. It can run minecraft flawlessly. The most modern game he had working fine on it was napoleon: total war which isn't that old. I will start buying parts for a new pc but I fear that I won't have all the parts till late next year, maybe even later. I will try my best to get A new pc ASAP

Something I just remembered may be a bit of a downfall for the LoL option. League servers are only continent wide, which makes them almost devoid of lag unless you have a really bad internet, but it would also me we might have problems playing with each other. As far as I know you can switch the server you access to to another continent, but it may result in lower connectivity, which isn't so good. I think most of us are from North America, but Flint is Europe and Kilc is asia so that might pose some problems.

Howdy, looks like I found the Gold Mine. Anyways, if you're looking for a game - I highly suggest TERA. Not only is it free, but it has beautiful graphics, and the combat mechanics are the best out of any MMO I've played thus far, the Guild system is good, and if any of you guys are fans of Monster Hunter, it's made by the same company - Capcom, a very fun game, especially when regularly playing with a group of people, the dungeons are good fun. We had some very good fun with TERA. Didn't mean to snoop, found your Guild page on accident, honest If you give it a try, and end up choosing the Valley of Titans as a server, maybe I can show you the ropes.

Hey Gunnbjorn, Thanks for the suggestion, our Guild will definitely take it into consideration. Owing to Flint's PC, we're not sure if we can play such graphically demanding MMOs, but it'll definitely be a choice if he manages to borrow his friend's laptop. If anyone's interested in checking it out, TERA is here: tera.wikia.com/wiki/Main_PageYeah Meeb, that was my worry as well. Alot of games have this continent based system, which does prove a hassle in MMOs. Among all the games suggested so far, I think only Minecraft is free of this problem because of it's private servers. So, this leaves us with 3 choices: TERA, LOL and Minecraft. If there are no other suggestions, I think we should do a final poll and see which one we want to play the most.

Yeah it seems most MMO's have continental servers. From my brief research I think TERA has continental servers as well. Minecraft obviously doesn't have that problem, and I think Neverwinter also uses 3 separate worldwide servers.
