Update #2-Clan Symbol, Poll

Guild members,
As with all Guilds, we must have a symbol by which we stand by. A symbol which will rouse hope in our allies, and break the spirit of our enemies. A symbol which will be known even further than our Guild's circle of influence, of which new and old alike will remember.

The current tentative symbol is a fist raised in defiance against a field of orange, a symbol of our Guild's fighting spirit and unity. There are 3 stripes in the background, with each one representing one of the 3 squads- Alpha, Beta and Gamma. There are also 3 circular symbols in the background- They represent the 3 playable races of the Ebonheart Pact, of which our Guild comes from. (The dragon represents the Nord, the spiral represents the Dark Elves while the third represents the Argonians.) Our Guild's motto, "Prominent is our fire" is also at the bottom of the Symbol, reminding us constantly of why we can be proud of our Guild.

I would like everyone's consent, disagreement or ideas on the implementation of this Clan Symbol. The Guild will be what you stand for in TESO in the future, and now is the time for you to decide how that future will look like. Simply vote in the poll above, or post your comments or ideas below.

I have taken into account what you said, and will experiment with those colors. If I do succeed in creating an appealing banner, I will definitely share it with the Guild and personally inform you. Do you have any way in which I can contact you? It will be very helpful if you could create a Krene account, so I can keep you updated and seek your critique on the final product.

Orange:
Orange is a power color. It is one of the healing colors. It also stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. Orange means vitality with endurance. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere. Lady luck's color is orange.

Orange is associated with the beginning warmth of the sun. A dynamic color, orange offers a more thoughtful control. Curiosity is a driving characteristic of orange, and with it comes exploration of new things.

Orange gemstones contain some of the fiery energies of red, but are gentler with a more creative spirit. They are used to promote personal power and are useful for people who could use more self esteem.

I like the use of the black hand, because it symbols diversity.
You did well in picking your colors.

I believe the Motto also fits the image we are looking for. We want people to notice us, but not fear us. To respect the three races as a whole, and to let the others know "we won't back down".

That's good, I'm glad you like it imortal. I will be trying to make a more signature-friendly version soon, so hopefully Guild members will be able to display the symbols as we post.

Oh and erm, Wick, you wanted a black background and red hand trial, right? Here you go, I did it in the morning and I hope this was what you wanted to see:

Hey, sorry I was late in the joining. I like either, really. Perhaps it would be more meaningful to have colors decided for their representation according to the nature of the guild (such as some of the mentioned attributes of the color orange) and then use them in whatever manner. I like things with meaning, even more than aesthetic value. Though the boldness of red on black is something I personally like, I think.

Yeah I think if we gave each squad a different image it'll be even better. For now we can stick to the orange variant, but when I complete a 3rd version perhaps we could give each squad a separate Guild symbol color theme.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the last color theme?

Well, I've looked through my stash and alas, I cannot find green.

Do you have a different suggestion for a color scheme that does not include green?

do you have yellow and blue if so mix them for green... if not try brown and yellow

Yeah, I'm fond of the yellow and brown idea. I mean, assuming you haven't already taken Imortal's advice regarding creating green. So far we've had Red, Black, and Orange, and now I've associated colors like that with the Striders. Yellow and Brown seem like the only two similar colors not yet utilized.
